Green STEM Learning provides several options for parents of students (Grades 5-8) who either want their child to:
1. Receive additional support in Math and / or Science,
2. Develop an interest in STEM, and / or
3. Obtain a comprehensive year-round high-quality education in math, science, and STEM.
Green STEM Learning was created to address learning loss that may have occurred during the pandemic and to offer an alternative pathway to close the achievement gap to get students back on track in math, science, and STEM. With the use of literacy, cross-curricular support and project-based learning, Green STEM Learning ensures that your child will walk away with the knowledge and skills to become STEM masters!
About Mr. Green
Hi! I'm Lance Green, M.Ed.I have been teaching middle school math and science since 2007 (18 years!). I am passionate about my teaching and love to see my students grow and master once difficult concepts! I am a strong believer in literacy, making cross-curricular connections and project-based learning. I love conducting science experiments with my students and bringing math to life, relating concepts to the real-world.I have realized that teaching in the school as a whole has become a challenge for teachers to focus on addressing individual student needs. This is the reason that I created Green STEM Learning to provide your child with the 1:1 attention that they deserve! Here at GSL, I will assess your child, create an individualized instruction plan, and meet one-on-one to reinforce math, science, and STEM concepts.I am the husband to my beautiful wife, Cristina and the dad to two amazing kids!
